Chiropractic Associates of Minnesota, LLC (CAMN) is a new chiropractic network that is currently looking to expand its network in Minnesota.  CAMN will be owned and operated by chiropractors in Minnesota with the goals of increasing provider access, increasing reimbursement, decreasing administrative fees paid by chiropractors, and managing the care appropriately, not excessively just to create more administrative costs.

CAMN is being modeled after Chiropractic Associates, Ltd. of South Dakota (CASD), a chiropractic network started in 1997 by Dr. Scott Munsterman in Brookings, South Dakota.  CASD now has over 300 members, including 80% of the chiropractors in South Dakota.  CASD does not restrict membership based on demographics.  It has a goal of negotiating fee schedules equal to or greater than 130% of Medicare and the most it charges in management fees is 10% of the amount paid by the third-party payer.  Also, on the contracts that require utilization management, it does not require pre-authorization and it does not require the doctor to provide documentation until the 10th visit.
