We are pleased to announce that CAMN has reached an agreement with Coventry Health Care of Iowa, Inc. to become its chiropractic network effective March 1st, 2008.

Coventry, which recently purchased Mutual of Omaha and First Health, has nearly 10,000 members throughout Minnesota, 110,000 members in Iowa, and over 14,000 members in South Dakota. CAMN members that sign the Coventry Health Care of Iowa, Inc. addendum will have access to Coventry members in Minnesota, as well as those from Iowa and South Dakota. Some of the larger employer groups covered under Coventry plans in Minnesota include Mail Handlers, Cretex Companies, Koch Industries, ConAgra and Boilermakers National Health & Welfare Fund. Other groups covered under Coventry plans are Wells Fargo in Iowa, Titan Tire, Dahls Foods, Bandag, Inc. and Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan (FEHBP) in NW Iowa.

CAMN has also signed a contract with First Choice of the Midwest, which has approximately 1,700 covered lives in Minnesota. The employer groups include; Thrifty White Drug, Cooperative Response Center, Freeborn Mower Coop Services, NPPN and Lampert Yards.

CAMN is currently a participating network with Midlands Choice. At this time Midlands Choice has approximately 6,000 covered lives throughout Minnesota. Current employers with over 100 covered lives in Minnesota include Cargill, Rosens Diversified, Superior Cartage, Yaggy Cobby Associates, IC System, and Gemini Inc. There are several payers; among the largest are Comprehensive Care Services, Inc. (CCS), Corporate Benefit Services of America (CBSA) and PreferredOne Administrative Services.
